Central Election Commission (CEC) has decided this Wednesday to implement the procedure for electronic voting and counting within the local elections of May 14 for the municipalities of Vora, Kamza and Elbasan.
This point of the agenda that was agreed upon by the parties, while the decision came after the addition of the government fund for the CEC of 800 million ALL. Meanwhile, a CEC member emphasized that this pilot project will be applied in 335 polling stations in these 3 municipalities.
In the elections of April 25, 2021, electronic voting was held in the municipality of Vora and in unit no. 10 in the capital.
