The lack of opposition has failed the meeting of the Political Council of Electoral Reform today.
As it was previously reported, the opposition did not attend today’s meeting in protest of the demolition of the theater and yesterday’s developments.
Only Rudina Hajdari and Damian Gjiknuri were at the meeting. Hajdari even called on the Democratic Party to take part on the meeting, while Gjiknuri said that there is no serious reason to stop working in the council.
The opposition decided yesterday not to attend today’s meeting on the Reform, however it seems that this is not final.
Abcnews.al learns that today’s non-participation is not a permanent boycott of the meeting by the opposition, which means that Oerd Bylykbashi and Petrit Vasili will continue to sit in front of Damian Gjiknuri, although on the other hand there is a appeal for protests and the overthrow of the government.
