The Chief prosecutor of Elbasan, Kreshnik Ajazi, declared this Thursday that the institution he leads has issued 15 arrest warrants after the testimony of the repentant justice, Arben Tafani.
In a press conference with the General Director of Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, Ajazi said that the investigations are still ongoing and dynamic.
“Prosecutor’s office has conducted investigations into criminal offenses, murders for blood feuds, possession of weapons without a permit. These proceedings refer to two criminal events that occurred in 2021. Complete evidence related to the suspected perpetrators of these events has been administered.
Evidence has also been administered for some criminal events that occurred in some cities. The suspected perpetrators acted out of self-interest. On 27/09/2023, 15 arrest warrants were issued. For all these proceedings, investigations are dynamic.
We focus on the prevention of criminal events, with the aim of bringing the perpetrators to justice”, emphasized Ajazi.
