Postponement of the court session for the Elbasan incinerator has been decided again this Thursday. Based on the information at hand, the court has decided that the hearing will take place on September 21 at 09:30.
According to the information, the reason for the postponement of the session was the absence of the former minister Lefter Koka and the former secretary Alqi Blako and the absence of one of the lawyers of the company Integreatet Tecnology Service, who would carry out the defense.
In the meantime, Prosecutor’s Office requested a total sentence of 52 years in prison for the 9 defendants.
For Koka, the prosecution body requested 10 years in prison, for Bllako 4 years, while for the members of the bid evaluation commission, a penalty of at least 4 years of imprisonment was requested for abuse of office.
On his part, ex-minister Koka is accused of three charges: corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets, while Bllako is charged with abuse of duty.
