Special Court held this Thursday the next session regardig the two defendants in the Elbasan incinerator, where it decided to postpone the decision to October 5.
According to the information, a defense session was held in court this Thursday for two companies which are represented by two lawyers who performed work on the incinerator in the Firi incinerator and fictitious works in this incinerator.
Meanwhile, former Ministry of Environment Lefter Koka and former secretary of this ministry Alqi Blako have completed their defense earlier.
In the meantime, we remind you that the prosecutor’s office requested a total sentence of 52 years in prison for the 9 defendants.
For Koka, the prosecution body requested 10 years in prison, for Bllako 4 years, while for the members of the bid evaluation commission, a sentence of at least 4 years of imprisonment was requested for abuse of office.
Former minister Koka is facing three charges: corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets, while Bllako is charged with abuse of duty.
