Eight arrested in Tirana for violence

Eight people have been arrested by the Tirana police for various criminal offences. A 43-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly punched his subordinate because of his duty.

Another was arrested after he allegedly assaulted his wife and threatened her. A 25-year-old man was arrested after violating the “House Arrest” security measure. A 40-year-old man was arrested after he had a conflict with an 18-year-old man for weak motives, and as a result the latter ended up in the hospital.

The 40-year-old is charged with the criminal offense of “Deliberate grievous bodily harm”. A 56-year-old man in Kamëz was arrested after the Court of First Instance of Tirana sentenced him to 3 months in prison for the criminal offenses of “Opposing a Public Order Police Officer” and “Disturbance of public order and peace”.

A 50-year-old man was arrested after the Court of First Instance of Tirana General Jurisdiction sentenced him to 4 months in prison for the criminal offense of “Theft of electricity or telephone impulses”. A 62-year-old man in Kruja was caught driving a motorcycle in a drunken state.

A 20-year-old man from Kamza was caught driving an “Audi” type vehicle under the influence of alcohol and without a driving license.
