Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) has announced this Friday the claim against the former mayor of Bulqiza, Lefter Alla, seeking 3.6 years in prison.
SPAK demands 4 years of imprisonment for Erion Isak and Rasim Daci (2.8 years with a shortened trial), 3 years in prison for Enkelejda Lleshi (with a shortened trial, 2 years in prison), 2.3 years in prison for Aqif Konesha (1.5 years with a shortened trial) shortened), from two years for Rubin Kola, Arsen Gjoka, Kujtim Zogun and Leonard Daçin (with the application of a shortened trial, 1.4 years in prison) as well as 1.9 years in prison for Dali Gazidedja (1.2 years with a shortened trial).
Lefter Alla is accused of “Violation of the equality of participants in public tenders or auctions” and “Abuse of duty”, but with the application of the shortened trial, he might serve 2.4 years of prison.
Meanwhile, the criminal offense “Violation of the equality of participants in public tenders or auctions” is charged against Enkeleda Lleshi, Rubin Kola, Arsen Gjoka, Leonard Daç, Kujtim Zog and Denis Xholi.
Erion Isaku is accused of “Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions”. Rasim Daci, Aqif Konesha, Ana Nishku, Dali Gazidedja and Kastriot Ibrahimaj cooperated in forging the documents.
SPAK has proven that Alla and other employees of the Bulqizë Municipality have abused the tender “Construction of the supply network and the distribution network of Water Supply and the construction of the KUZ network, Old quarter, Bulqizë city, Bulqizë Municipality”.
The tender was worth 322 million and 439 thousand ALL.
