Fier police have handcuffed a 34-year-old man declared wanted for cultivating narcotic plants. Under the blue uniforms citizen E.B. in June 2021 he was caught cultivating cannabis sativa seedlings in the forest of Kryekuq village, Divjaka.
“Following the work to locate and apprehend the wanted persons, the Crime Investigation Specialists at the Divjaka Police Commissariat detained the citizen E. B., 34 years old, resident in Kryekuq, Divjaka.
The detention of this citizen was made after the Court of First Instance Lushnja, with the decision of 20.10.2021, has imposed the security measure “Prison arrest” for the criminal offense “Cultivation of narcotic plants”, as: Police services during the control of territory, on 05.06.2021 in the forest of the village Kryekuq, Divjaka have found planted cannabis sativa seedlings and the investigation showed that the author of their cultivation is suspected to be citizen E. B :, said in the police report.
A 44-year-old man accused of fraud has also been handcuffed by the police.
“Specialists of the Section for Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime in DVP Fier detained the citizen RR, 44 years old, resident in Fier, because through fraud he took a sum of money from the citizen AT, 22 years old, resident in Fier”, writes the police. /abcnews.al
