Disappointed with justice, relatives of Karaburun tragedy report to SPAK

Relatives of the victims who lost their lives on January 9, 2004 in the Karaburun tragedy have expressed disappointment with justice. This Tuesday, they have reported again to SPAK as they have not received any response from the previous request. The relatives ask the Special Prosecutor to clarify the event as the real perpetrators have never been tried and why the Vlora Prosecutor’s Office had launched an investigation.

The relatives accuse the officials of that time, the former Minister of Interior and Defense, including police officers. Meanwhile, we recall that in January 2004 28 people lost their lives, where 8 bodies were not found. /abcnews.al
