Democratic MP Ervin Salianji has declared Thursday that the resignation of Enkelejd Alibeaj from the position of Democratic Party’s (DP) Parliamentary Group’s Head is an attempt for further fragmentation of the opposition political force.
In a statement to the media, the politician said that after the disappointing result of May 14, the Albanian opposition must analyze and take responsibility.
According to him, should be created a Democratic Party, which belongs to the whole society and not certain clans.
“The schemes are to fragment it even more. I do not see that there is a touch to serve the Democrats, that we see that the seal faction, there is another attempt to fragment even more.
They are not interested in creating a real opposition, but they are interested in getting some office.
All opposition MPs should come together and find a solution. If there are no common interests with the base, for the opposition to win, the opposition must make a new organization. There are young people, there are people in endless society”, proclaimed Salianji.
