Sali Berisha started the media conference with a call to the citizens and supporters of the DP to come out in protest.
“They are vital, to put pressure on the government not to abuse its power. Today I ask the citizens, what is the harm of the protest? What’s wrong with that? Accountability, demonstration, courage for freedom,” said Berisha.
The leader of the DP emphasized that evil only comes from a government that misinforms and manipulates international opinion, and when the opposition does not speak its voice.
“The voice of the citizens on the street only limits evil. The EU-Western Balkans summit is on December 6. Protests at summits and at these meetings are the most normal thing in free countries.” Berisha said.
According to Berisha, there is no harm in protesting when there are Summits, as according to him this is done all over Europe.
