COVID cases continue to rise in Albania, the Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated

In the last 24 hours in our country have been registered 284 positive cases for Covid-19.

In the daily reporting of cases, the Ministry of Health announces that out of 827 tests performed, infected have tested positive for Covid-19, 170 citizens in Tirana, 24 in Fier, 16 in Durrës, 13 in Vlora, 8 citizens in Saranda , Berat, from 6 citizens in Shkodra, Gjirokastra, from 5 citizens in Divjaka, Himara, from 4 citizens in Kamza, Roskovec, 3 in Peqin, from 2 citizens in Vora, Lushnje, Poliçan, from 1 citizen in Puka, Kruja, Kavaja , Rrogozhina, Mallakastër, Tepelena.

Given the increase in figures, the Ministry of Health urges citizens not to neglect anti-covid vaccination, especially in this period of increasing contacts, due to movements during the summer season.

There are 1,840 active citizens with Covid19 nationwide. Meanwhile, 18 patients are receiving treatment in COVID3 hospital. In the last 24 hours there is no loss of life with Sars-Cov2. 88 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 273,740 since the beginning of the epidemic.
