ISHP has confirmed 77 positive cases in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, unfortunately, two citizens could not win the battle with the disease, despite the great assistance of doctors and medical treatment.
A 76-year-old man from Tirana, with some concomitant diseases, after being improved 15 days ago he, has suffered pulmonary thromboembolism.
A 54-year-old man in serious condition, with renal insufficiency, died at the hospital emergency room. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families of the victims.
The situation is serious in the infectious disease hospital where 87 patients are currently being treated, 15 of them are in intensive care, while 2 are intubated.
The good news is that in the last 24 hours 48 citizens have been recovered, bringing the total number to 1298 since the beginning of the epidemic.
There are currently 920 active cases in Albania with COVID-19, mainly in Tirana, Shkodra, Durres.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection appeals every tourist enterprise and all holidaymakers to implement the anti-Covid19 measures protocol throughout the season.
