In today’s update of the situation of COVID-19 in Albania, doctor Rovena Daja informed that currently in Albania there are currently 608 active cases with coronavirus, mainly in Tirana, Shkodra, Kruja.
During the last 24 hours in the infectious disease hospital, 3 other patients have been hospitalized.
Of these hospitalized patients, 9 are in intensive care, and 3 of them are intubated.
The doctor urges citizens to be vigilant and respect the measures. She added: “The increase of positive cases in business activities, public and private institutions, enterprises with many workers may be accompanied by an increase in hospitalizations and those who need intensive therapy.”
The only way to stop the spread of the virus is by keeping the physical distance of 1.5 meters from each other, maintaining personal hygiene and washing hands constantly, businesses and institutions respecting the established protocols.
Masks are a must. Use them wherever the environment is closed, in hospitals, health centers, shops, supermarkets, hairdressers, taxis, work environments, service offices./abcnews.al
