The Special Prosecutor’s Office has closed the investigations regarding the affair in the Ministry of Health, where at least four people have been charged, including the former secretary of this ministry, Joana Duro, and two engineers who won a tender worth about 8 million ALL.
Journalist Ermal Vija reports for ABC News that this Monday the court is expected to consider the request of the prosecution, which has asked to pass for trial this file for passive and active corruption.
This is a session that is expected to take place at 11:00. Meanwhile, the investigation shows that Duro received money to enable people to rehabilitate some health centers in Tirana and Durres.
