Tirana continues to be the main focus in Albania with a high number of positively confirmed daily cases with Covid19.
ISHP states that during the last 24 hours 225 citizens have been tested for Covid19 and 26 positive cases have been confirmed, all in Tirana.
In the last 24 hours, 73 health personnel have been tested, of which 12 have tested positive, at QSUT, all without symptoms.
In total, there are 20 infected in QSUT, health personnel and 6 patients, contacts of the positively confirmed nurse three days ago.
The infectious disease hospital are receiving treating 24 patients, 3 of whom are in intensive care.
In the last 24 hours, 11 citizens have been recovered bringing the number to 823 since the beginning of the epidemic.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, over 15,000 molecular and serological tests have been done, while the number of confirmed positive cases across the country is 1,076. Of these, over 76% are recovered.
There are currently 220 active cases in Albania with COVID19, mainly in Tirana, Durrës and Kruja.
