The 70th meeting of the Commission for Europe of the World Tourism Organization brought to Tirana the Minister of Tourism of Israel, Haim Katz. He had a one-on-one meeting with the Minister of Tourism and Environment Mirela Kumbaro, following which a joint statement was signed to increase support and cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism.
Minister Kumbaro praised this country’s approach to initiatives that promote cooperation and exchanges that promote tourism as a bridge between states and people in these difficult times.
“I thank Minister Katz and I am glad that this agreement aims to promote cooperation in information exchanges at the level of institutions, innovation, tourism education and within the framework of cooperation with UNWTO promotes tourism and travel as a bridge between countries and people, a positive message in these difficult times”, said Kumbaro.
