A 59-year-old man was arrested in Blata, on the border with North Macedonia, as part of the “Border” police operation, a follow-up to the “Temple” coded mega-operation.
Rami Çela carried out the activity of distributing cocaine in the city of Peshkopia, near schools and in various premises.
Based on police intelligence, the Operational forces have located the suspect vehicle driven by the citizen R.Ç., which was traveling from the city of Peshkopia in the direction of PPK Bllatë, and have pursued it, keeping it under surveillance.
At the moment the vehicle arrived at PKK Bllatë, the Operational services together with the services of the Border Police Bllatë, carried out a detailed control in the vehicle, where as a result they found hidden dozens of doses of the narcotic cocaine.
Specialists for Narcotics Investigation have searched the apartment of the driver of the vehicle, where during the search, the Police found 7 packages of narcotic cocaine, in total about 710 grams of cocaine, which were seized as material evidence together with a quantity of money, 2 mobile devices, 1 electronic scale and the “Sharon” type vehicle, owned by the 59-year-old.
