After the decision to keep schools closed until April 3, Education Minister Besa Shahini has made important announcements today.
“The first announcement is about broadcasting the lectures to RTSH, the MASR Youtube channel, and the Akademi.al platform.
The broadcast will continue just like the two weeks we left behind. We cover science, math and linguistics subjects for grades 1-12.
This is also the focus for the 3rd week of work from home, while for the 4th week we are looking at the opportunity to include lectures from foreign languages, history and geography.
Minister Shahini’s second announcement is related to national exams. “Schools are closed, but we are continuing our lessons. Today we are talking about 90% of students who are in direct communication with their teachers.
Therefore, there is still no reason to think that national exams will not be held.
Minister Shahini’s third announcement is about the assessment. “This is a question that has come from both teachers and students.
They ask how they will be assessed at the end of the second semester, which is now and how they will evaluate the work that they have done online from home, ”she says.
“Tomorrow or after tomorrow, we will close the guide for all teachers and how the work of students will be assessed during these weeks of working from home.
Evaluation will have two elements. It is the element of participation, that is, the student will be assessed by his / her participation according to the teacher’s predictions and conditions; and secondly, the student will also be assessed with the knowledge gained during this period. “/abcnews.al
