Chinese couple caught in Rinas with fake residence permit

Rinas Police has arrested this Monday the couple of Chinese residents with initials L. Ch., 36 years old and Y. Ch., 33 years old, both residents in China.

According to law enforcement, they tried to cross the border to Canada with a false residence permit.

Following arrest, the procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court, for further actions, for the criminal offense “Forgery of documents”, carried out in collaboration.

“Rinas Border Police Services, based on the risk analysis, have intensified controls through modern detection equipment, with the aim of preventing, identifying and cracking down on border crimes. As a result, the following citizens were caught red-handed and arrested:

– L. Ch., 36 years old and Y. Ch., 33 years old (husband), both residents of China.

These citizens were passed to the second line, for detailed control, and during the verifications, it turned out that the residence permits they presented for the purpose of traveling to Canada were forged”, said the police.
