Nick Abbott has been appointed the new British ambassador to Albania. The news was announced by the British embassy in Tirana through an announcement on social networks, where it states that the diplomat will start work in September.
Earlier, Abbot held the post of ambassador in Pristina for the period 2019-2024. “Nick Abbott has been appointed His Majesty’s Ambassador to Albania. All of us at the embassy look forward to welcoming him in September 2024.
He has worked in Europe and the Middle East and brings an extraordinary experience as His Majesty’s Ambassador to Kosovo,” the British embassy in Tirana announced. Abbot will succeed Alastair King-Smith.
