The British Foreign Secretary, David Cameron, is coming to Tirana today. He will hold meetings with Prime Minister Edi Rama, President Bajram Begaj and Foreign Minister Igli Hasani, to discuss cooperation relations between the two countries. After the meeting with Rama, a joint conference is scheduled at 12:50. At 14:30, the British diplomat will meet with Begaj.
The focus will again be on stopping illegal immigration, almost two years after reaching the agreement on the immediate return of illegal Albanian citizens from Great Britain.
Cameron will also announce an anti-corruption and organized crime program for the judicial system, which will serve both countries. Likewise, the United Kingdom will continue to support the Albanian Police forces, within the framework of the implementation of reforms for our country.
