Elbasan Police have prosecuted ed this Tuesday a citizen with the initials E.M, 59, resident in Bulgaria. During the physical search conducted on him were found and seized as material evidence the sum of 19,000 EUR.
Authorities suspect that the money were smuggled into Albania, while Elbasan Prosecution is working on solving the case.
“DVP Elbasan operational structures referred to the materials in the Prosecutor’s Office where the free proceeding began for the citizen E. M., 59, resident in Bulgaria, after during the physical search of him, police services were found and seized in the quality of material evidence , 19 000 euros which is allegedly introduced to our country, in violation of the law. In the direction of the Elbasan Prosecutor’s Office, investigations into the full legal documentation of this case continue”, said the police.
