The Court of Special Appeals, this Friday, has upheld the security measure of prison arrest for Silvi Shehu, the engineer of Vladimir Topi’s company, who was arrested on suspicion of corrupting the secretary of the Ministry of Health, Joana Duro.
Three days after the arrest, the court released its owner, who gave the money to Shehu to take to secretary Duro, due to his old age.
Joana Duro and senior public services specialist Laureta Shteto are also in prison. According to SPAK, Shteto is the person who received 330,000 ALL which was given as a bribe for the tender for the supervision of several health centers in Tirana and Durres.
