Blerina Bala is in charge of Himara Municipality. Bala was elected with the approval of the Municipal Council, after the arrest of Jorgo Goro, who resigned from the position of acting mayor.
In addition to the councilors of the SP, the councilors of the “Together we win” coalition, of Berisha and Meta, Fuat Mati and Timoleu Gerlluqi, as well as the official Democratic Party councilor of Lulzm Basha, Aleks Llazari, took part in the vote.
Due to the conflict of interest, the councilor of AAK, Artan Bala, husband of the commanding mayor of Himara municipality, did not participate in the vote.
The meeting of the Municipal Council was accompanied by tensions, with the arrival of the Socialist Party, Blendi Klosi and the prefect of Himara, Vangjel Tavo.
It was the supporters of Fredi Beleri and Sali Berisha, who created chaos to prevent its development.
