From the office for which he fought to quit Lulzim Basha, former prime minister Sali Berisha held a conversation with citizens through Facebook this Saturday. Answering their questions, Berisha emphasized the protests as the only way to remove Edi Rama.
“The most intensive way of my communication with you has been through social networks. As for the protests, the truth is that polarization in this country is growing rapidly and the middle class is being wiped out and the poor are getting poorer. Rama does not accept the vote and all this dramatic development, upheaval in the layers of society has a fundamental cause of the violation of the vote by him.
Protests are the path for which the front for the salvation of Albania has been determined. I guarantee you they will start very soon. They have been postponed, but even the postponement is unbearable for many aspects. Strikes and protests will be the ways to return to Albania the hope and the free vote to get out of the totalitarian regime”, said Berisha.
Regarding the situation in the blue headquarters, Berisha declared that the opening of the party is happening and underlined the beginning of the primaries for the next local elections.
“Even the primaries themselves are a procedure for opening the party. First citizens of the municipalities will be able to run for all those who feel they have a project. The opening has started and will be realized”, declared Berisha.
The former prime minister said that the guidelines for the primaries will be approved on Monday. “On Monday, the DP National Council approves the guidelines for elections according to the primaries. So, the primaries for mayors will have the legal framework ready on Monday. This is a big event for the DP, because through the primaries, we extend the plurality towards the party”, he emphasized.
