The head of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha, in the weekly conference with journalists, has stated that he is for a total union of this party. Asked if he is only talking with the Alibeajt camp about an agreement to come out with joint candidates during the spring local elections, Berisha said that he is in favor of full union, but added that the DP has an article in the statute that also allows factions .
So, if the Alibeaj grouping will exist as a faction of the DP, “there is no reason to take my permission,” said the chief democrat.
Berisha added that the roads are open and while he added that DP is the party of dialogue.
