The historical leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha has addressed the National Assembly. According to the former prime minister, these months the DP has faced traps and attempts to destroy the Albanian opposition. He says these efforts have failed.
“This party never dies. She will live nobler. You re-established that they wanted to erase from the face of the earth the regime based on crime, drugs, hatred towards Albanians. We joined and re-established PD. Just as he was born to remain the invincible advocate of traditional conservative values. We wanted to be determined to protect the national interest, “said Berisha.
Berisha stopped once again at the former mayor Lulzim Basha, whom he described as a collaborator of the government.

- The date of May 22 for the elections for the chairman of the Democratic Party is approved
- Vacancies are announced for the position of chairman of the PD parliamentary group

- Selection by secret ballot of the National Council of the Democratic Party
