President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj has congratulated this Tuesday all Albanians from Vlora on the occassion of Independence Day.
In a social media statement, the Head of State called on Albanians to be guided by high goals, the highest of which is the protection of the values of peace, democracy and prosperity of Albania.
“From Vlora, I wish all Albanians in Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and everywhere in the world: Happy Independence Day! Flag Day, as the most representative and unifying symbol of the nation, is the most beautiful Albanian holiday.
Today we are an independent state thanks to the wisdom, courage and determination of Albanian patriots 111 years ago in the name of love for the homeland and the nation, in the name of love for this flag, in the name of freedom. Freedom brings responsibility.
Let the inspiring model of the founding fathers, who gave everything for a free and independent Albania, serve us as a guide in every work we do for the country and for the Albanians.
