This Thursday, President Bajram Begaj hosted the President of Hungary, Mrs. Katalin Novak, on an official visit.
The main topic of discussion in this meeting seems to have been the bilateral cooperation, the EU integration process of Albania and BP, the current developments in the region, at the center of the conversation.
“I expressed my regret to President Novak, for the Hungarian soldiers injured in the North of Kosovo and I appreciated the very good, historical and traditionally friendly relations between the two countries”, said Begaj.
Among other things, in this meeting he stated that the national heroes of our two countries, Skenderbeu and Huniad, laid the foundations of a strategic partnership. “Thank you to Hungary for initiating the proclamation by the UN of September 5 as the International Day of Charity in honor of the Albanian saint, Mother Teresa.
