The leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha has started his official visit to Kosovo. After Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, Basha also met with the head of state, Hashim Thaçi.
In a joint press conference, Basha said that he expressed his support for President Thaçi, while appreciating his attitudes in support of the dialogue with Serbia, the final goal of which is mutual recognition.
Basha also said that he has expressed his and the opposition’s support for all the attitudes of the heads of institutions and politics, especially those who have sacrificed for these 22 years for the freedom of Kosovo.
I expressed my support to the President for his stances as head of state in support of dialogue, in support of the cohesion of all political forces in Kosovo. It is my view that the cooperation of political forces only strengthens Kosovo in the challenges it is facing.
In terms of dialogue, such coordination will accelerate the dialogue process with a view to mutual recognition./abcnews.al
