In a state of emergency after the tragic earthquake, Democratic leader Lulzim Basha has instructed party structures to be close to the people and not use this grave event to make politics.
After establishing coordination groups for all 6 areas most affected by the earthquake, Basha has asked them to “meet the citizens affected by the earthquake, identify what needs they have, damages caused to dwellings, etc. ”
Unusual in this instruction, is the urge to avoid protagonism and public appearances by Democratic coordinators with the aim of putting all energy to the benefit of the citizens.

Dear ladies and gentlemen,
Wishing you and your relatives to be well and thanking you for your commitments so far in support of the earthquake-stricken citizens, I am following the DPA leader’s instruction.
Starting tomorrow morning, we need to maintain and increase our presence, to meet the citizens affected by the earthquake, to identify what their needs are, the damage caused to the dwellings, to try to help them with whatever we can.
Each group, under the direction of the leader of the party structure in the area ,will move throughout the area, meet citizens affected by earthquakes, look at the conditions in which they live, declare and identify conditions and needs, gather issues that citizens report and are interested in whether state structures have provided assistance or contacted them.
The goal is not to use politics in the calamity that has happened to us, but to help the citizens./abcnews.al
