The leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, closed his speech with a strong message at the activity held in commemoration of the 31st anniversary of the Student Movement, which overthrew the communist regime. In front of dozens of Democrats, Basha swore that the DP would stand strong and united. The leader of the Democrats said that the DP will be united to fulfill the mission of the December 1990s.
“On this December 8, I swear that the DP is on a strong footing, has known and will know how to stand on a strong footing united because we have a mission, freedom, democracy as the whole of Europe, we have received from the Decemberists and we will deliver until we make it a reality “, Said Basha, among other things.
On Youth Day, the chairman of the Democratic Party apologized to all Albanians for that part of the responsibility “which, according to him, enabled this regime to return Albania in many aspects to the dimension of suffering where it was 31 years ago.”
Like no year ago, the highlight of this December 8 was the fact that the DP celebrates divided into two activities, one organized by Lulzim Basha and another by Sali Berisha. The division between them came after Basha expelled Berisha from the PD group at the request of the US, which declared him “Non Grata”. The latest “battle” between them is for the National Assembly of the Democratic Party, for which Berisha proposed December 11, and Basha December 18.
