Interior Minister Taulant Balla held a meeting with leaders and officers of the Republic Guard this morning. In his speech, Minister Balla stated that respect for the Law and the Code of Ethics during the exercise of duty and outside of it should be the distinguishing norm of this elite security structure.
“You can be sure that I will do everything to guarantee the best possible financial treatment for all levels of the structure of the Guard of the Republic.
I want to say to each of you that being a member of the Guard of the Republic is an honor. And in fact, over the years, the Guard of the Republic, as the Commander said, has had and continues to be successful in preserving personalities, but also in organizing many important international meetings, as we had the summit last year, even if we will have the summit again on October 16 of the Berlin Process, an important activity, where the Guard of the Republic bears the greatest responsibility for its success.
But, nevertheless, what is very important to me is that we must continue to increase the support for the Guard of the Republic, either in infrastructure or in technology”, declared Minister Balla./abcnews.al
