Balla meets Ambassador Karl Bergner: Traffic Police will be trained according to German standards

Interior Minister Taulant Balla held a meeting with the new German ambassador in Tirana, Karl Bergner. During the meeting, Balla and Bergner discussed the possibility of creating new mechanisms for the promotion of people with high moral and professional integrity, where, according to Balla, German expertise in this regard will be very important.

During the meeting, Minister Balla emphasized that one of the priority sectors for Albania is the refresh, training and modernization according to German standards of the traffic police.

“We will continue to carry out joint investigative operations in the fight against criminal offenses for narcotics, illegal traffic, and money laundering, economic and financial crime, computer crime. The permanent Task-Force between our two police officers “Anti-Skifter” will continue to give results in the attack of evil elements, with the opening and follow-up of parallel criminal proceedings”, emphasizes Balla.
