The meeting between the newly elected President of Albania and his predecessors has ended. The elected President, Bajram Begaj met this Thursday with the three former Presidents of the Republic.
ABC journalist Juxhin Mustafaraj learns that the meeting with Alfred Moisiu, Bamir Topi and Rexhep Meidani took place at the Palace of Brigades. The meeting lasted about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
It is thought that Begaj received advice from his predecessors on running the state. Bajram Begaj was elected as the ninth president of the Republic of Albania with 78 votes in favor, 4 against and 1 abstention on June 4.
The former Chief of General Staff, whose name came out of the SP, will be the successor of Ilir Meta and will remain at the head of the state for the next five years.
