An accident has been recorded this Wednesday morning in the Sauk area of the Albanian capital, where a Tirana-Petrela line bus was hit by an “Audi” vehicle.
Due to the accident, 6 people were injured, while the driver of the “Audi” and a passenger are currently receiving treatment at the Trauma Hospital. Following preliminary verifications by experts of the Road Police, it turned out that the cause of the accident was a wrong overtaking by the driver of the “Audi”.
Regardless, the investigative group is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
“On 10.05.2023, in Sauk, the bus driven by citizen B. H. collided with the vehicle driven by citizen I. A.
As a result, the citizen I. A. and a passenger on the bus were injured, who are in the hospital, under the care of doctors, while three other passengers, after the medical examination, have left the hospital.
From the preliminary verifications, it appears that the driver of the vehicle, citizen I. A., entered the wrong way by stepping in front of the bus and caused the accident.
Procedures are being carried out for the detention of citizen I. A”, revealed the law and order.
