16,500 euros were seized in the port of Durres. According to the police at the entrance, for the detailed control, a bus type vehicle coming from Italy, driven by the citizen Sh. V., 55 years old.
During the control exercised in the vehicle, in the fans of the air conditioners were found hidden 16,500 euros, the amount of which was seized as material evidence.
In the trailer part of the truck, 5 illegal immigrants were found hiding, aiming at illegal passage to EU countries.
Further actions were carried out by specialists for the Investigation of Narcotics and Illegal Trafficking in DVP Korça, who initiated criminal proceedings against the citizen H. K., for the criminal offense “Assistance in illegal border crossing”.
The materials in their charge were passed to the Prosecutions of the Judicial Districts of Durrës and Korçë, for further investigative actions.
