The number of people arrested in the district of Tirana from the anti-drug operation codenamed “Tempulli” that took place throughout the country reaches 90. Journalist Xhensila Kodra reports that those arrested are part of 7 groups that were involved in the distribution of cocaine, heroin and cannabis in the capital.
It is known that there are 5 women among those arrested. They were with more lenient security measures set in absentia.
For 3 house arrest and 2 more forced appearance. One of them was with a minor child and pregnant, while another was 68 years old. From the observations made by anti-drug officers in the field, it was found that most of them distributed drugs by taxi and motorcycle to avoid being caught by the police.
