Alert for an air attack sounded in North Mitrovica, at noon on Friday, while citizens gathered in front of municipal facilities in Zubin Potok, Leposavič and Zveçan.
In front of the municipality building in Zveçan there are also cars of the Kosovo Police. The former councilor in the Municipal Assembly of Zubin Potok, Milija Bishevac, told that the citizens have gathered in front of the municipality building, convinced that “the newly elected mayor, Izmir Zeqiri, is trying to enter the building”.
Bishevac confirmed that the danger sirens have also been activated. On the ground, according to him, members of the Kosovo Police and the EU Rule of Law Mission, EULEX, are around the municipality building.
