Albania’s first doctor dies of coronavirus

Albania has confirmed the first victim  by Covid 19 among doctors.

He is hematologist Arjan Pushi. The Ministry of Health announced the death of the hematologist at noon.

The hematologist was being treated for days at the Infectious Diseases Hospital, while his health deteriorated the day before and his colleagues intubated him.

Meanwhile, the health authorities have not announced the source of the doctor’s infection.

Arjan Pushi has had a distinguished career in the field of hematology and has trained many generations of medical students./abcnews.al
