Albanian President convenes the National Security Council today

The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj convenes the National Security Council today.

The meeting is expected to take place at 14:00, while the permanent members of the National Security Council as well as heads of institutions important for national security are expected to participate.

“The meeting of the National Security Council aims to provide a complete and integrated overview of the state of National Security in the Republic of Albania and to discuss the priorities for the following year in function of the full, comprehensive commitment of the institutions in guaranteeing security, freedom and welfare of citizens.” – it is said in the announcement of the Presidency.

This is the first meeting of the National Security Council, since Bajram Begaj was elected President of the Republic.
