Twin sisters from Patos, who went to England many years ago, have managed to be part of the group of the best British scientists. One of the sisters, invited to ABC Live this Thursday with journalist Juli Xhokaxhi, gave details about her and her sister’s presence in the group of scientists who worked on the Oxford anti-Covid vaccine.
Detina Zalli stressed that the vaccine has no specific side effects and all persons. According to her, the vaccine gives the effect in the first 15 minutes and not after a few days.
“I work in the department where the Oxford vaccine was developed, they are very effective and because there are many side effects but they are general, my relatives and I are vaccinated, and I am in favor of them because they are protective against the virus.
It is true that we should consider that the effectiveness of the vaccine is up to 6 months so the third dose is being given the same as the flu vaccine, but people who are vaccinated pass the coronavirus more easily. The immune system is our key, and without it it is impossible to fight disease, it is true that cases with Covid are rare.
The person who has passed Covid has antibodies and if he gets the virus he will be attacked by the antibodies and if he is vaccinated it is a boost of immunity and will not bring anything bad.
The effect of the vaccine has no effect on the genetic code. “The moment you get the vaccine, if you have an allergy or a reaction, it appears within 15 minutes to 30 minutes, and if you have other things after a week, the chance is zero that they will be related to the vaccine”, said Zalli.
Among other things, she was invited to ABC Live and gave details about her latest project where together with her sister they are working to be part of scientific projects and high school students in Albania.
I came for the organization “We Speak Science”, which I have with my sister Argita and another group and the goal is to increase the level of science. The team consists of great scientists who have worked or are working at NASA and at various universities the goal is to highlight as much as possible their trends. We will want to have as many projects in Albania and all the things that the students have done they have done with enthusiasm and this makes us help them as much as possible “, she said, among other things. /abcnews.al
