The Albanian MP in the Serbian Parliament, Shaip Kamberi, who represents the Presevo Valley, spoke today from Shkodra about what he calls “the oppression of Albanians in Serbia by the regime of President Vucic and the difficult position of Albanians there.” Kamberi also commented on the initiative of “Open Balkan”, for which he said that “it can not continue, as long as Kosovo is excluded”.
Also, the MP stated that “Vucic has two standards where on the one hand he acts as a Balkan peace and unifier, but on the other hand mentions the term Serbian world excluding all others and has strong ties with China and Russia, and tends to depopulate of Albanians living in the Presevo Valley ”.
“Vucic plays the role of a Balkan peacekeeper trying to reach an agreement to be the leader of the Balkans. On the other hand, through his exponents, he launches the project of the Serbian world. He talks about a world where there will be no Serbs except. “Therefore, these two projects ‘Serbian world’ and ‘Open Balkans’ are in conflict with each other,” he stressed. According to him, more support is needed from the governments of Albania and Kosovo.
There can be no “Open Balkan”, as long as the Albanians in Serbia are oppressed. I can not criticize this procedure, but there can be no exceptions. “I am also critical of the Brussels administration that is forcing Kosovo and Serbia to sign some agreements that are probably not appropriate,” said MP Kamberi.
