Albania and the Turkish firm “Bayraktar” signed yesterday the agreement for the purchase of a fleet of unmanned drones, the highest flight technology for military, police and civil missions.
Prime Minister Edi Rama brought today moments from the ceremony of signing the agreement for the introduction of the famous Bayraktar drones into the arsenal of our Armed Forces.
These drones will be in the function of national security, the fight against crime and the illegal cultivation of hashish, civil emergencies, the protection of the territory and the collection of geospatial information.
In his speech, Prime Minister Edi Rama pointed out yesterday that the drones will be ready for a plan of activities for the good governance of the country, property insurance, law enforcement and civil emergencies. It will help to monitor traffic, persons wanted by the police and to monitor the territory and achieve the capacity of the last word in the fight against the cultivation of narcotics and the fight against illegal constructions.
