Another 14 Albanians have been evacuated from the ISIS camp in Syria. Among the survivors are 9 children and 4 women. 13 Albanian citizens have been handed over to the Albanian authorities. The good news was announced by official Abdulkari Omar through a Twitter post.

“On May 27, 2022, 13 Albanian citizens (4 women and 9 children) of ISIS families were handed over to an official delegation of the Albanian government, after the signing of the official handover document between AANES and the Republic of Albania”, wrote a senior Syrian official Dr. Abdulkarim Omar”.
So far there is no reaction from the Albanian authorities on their repatriation. The last repatriations of Albanian citizens were at the end of last July when 5 Albanian women and 14 children who had been living for years in the infamous “Al Hol” camp arrived.

Among the returnees were Brunilda Koçollari with her 5 children, Emanuela Vladi, mother of 4 children, Ruzhdije Balliu, Lavdie Kaca and her 2 children, as well as Klotilda Zani with 3 children. For years, dozens of Albanian families indoctrinated by the religious current left Albania for the jihad war.
With this repatriation, there are fewer Albanians left in these camps for whom work is being done to make it possible to return home.
