Starting from May 1, Albania will liberalize tourist visas with 8 countries around the world. The news was given by the Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, who stressed that this will pave the way for thousands of tourists to come to Albania.
Among other things, Kumbaro added that the way of application by consular services will be facilitated so that this can be realized as soon as possible.
“We took a decision, or reaffirmed a decision that was taken last year to liberalize tourist visas with 8 countries. The online system provided by the consular services is also facilitated for tourist purposes. From tomorrow until December 31st. Tourists will come from India, Arabia, Qatar. “said Kumbaro.
“The obligation to show the vaccination card against Covid was also discussed. This request for removal was made to the Committee of Experts. And the decision will be made in the coming days. “Starting in May, we can remove it as an obligation.” tha Kumbaro.
