Montenegro, with just over 620,000 residents, ranks first with 0.04 percent of the population infected with Covid 19.
At the bottom of the list is Greece, which despite having the second largest number of infected people in the region, after Romania, has only 0.01 percent of the population infected.
Montenegro, Croatia and Serbia have the highest percentage of people infected with coronavirus in the region according to their population.
The first two cases in Montenegro came from Spain and transited from Albania to enter Montenegro.
Croatia, with more than 4 million inhabitants, ranks second in the percentage of people infected at 0.03 percent.
Serbia ranks third in terms of the number of those infected but in percentage terms, in relation to the number of its population, it ranks 0.03 percent.
But Serbia ranks first in the region in terms of the number of victims, which is also related to the measures taken late for quarantine and traffic bans.
