Sixteen new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the last 24 hours in Albania bringing the total number to 766. The new cases are: 9 in Tirana, 1 in Shkodra, 5 in Kruja and one in Berat.
In the last 24 hours, 24 people have been recovered, bringing the total number to 455.
From 281 active patients, only 10% are hospitalized in two Covid hospitals. While about 90% of them are in self-isolation with mild symptoms or are asymptomatic and are monitored systematically by the family doctor.
So far, 30 citizens have lost their lives to the disease. There are currently 27 patients in the infectious disease service, 6 of whom are in intensive care.
In the hospital COVID 2 “Shefqet Ndroqi”, there are 6 patients hospitalized, 2 of them are in intensive care in serious condition./abcnews.al
