The Technical Committee of Experts during today’s meeting has decided to approve the recommendation made by the Vaccination Committee where it is deemed necessary the third dose of vaccine, anti-covid.
The second approved recommendation is to reduce the age group band for vaccination +16 years old and also vaccination +12 years old but only for those children who have health problems.
“The Committee of Experts decides that persons over 60 years of age should take the third dose no earlier than 6 months after the second dose. On 1st November, children who are 16 plus will be invited for vaccination,” said Mira Rakacolli.
